The prompt

Write a small, safe WordPress plugin that adds one feature to my site. Feature: [e.g. a shortcode that shows today's offer, a custom post type for events, a WhatsApp chat button, a reading-time label on posts] Where it appears: [pages, posts, widget, admin settings page] Settings needed: [list, if any] WordPress and PHP versions: [if known] Requirements: - Standard plugin header and a clear folder structure. - Follow WordPress coding standards; prefix all functions and options to avoid clashes. - Escape all output, sanitise all input, and use nonces and capability checks on forms and admin actions. - Load scripts and styles only where they're needed. - Clean up options on uninstall. Give me the files, how to install and activate it, how to test it, and how to remove it safely. Don't edit theme or core files.
